Home Consultations

First off let me reiterate that the service I offer is not a dog training service.

What I do offer is a home based consultation to show you how to implement amichien bonding and to address any specific behavioural problems you may be experiencing with your dog. I can show you how to teach your basic requests such as sit and the all important recall if needed.

The consultation takes place in your own home and it is preferable if all members of the family are present, plus anyone else who may have constant contact with your dog, such as a dog walker.

Consultations will usually take from 2-4 hours. During the consultation;

  • I will explain the basic needs and instincts of dogs.
  • You will learn about the four elements of amichien bonding and how they address the basic instinctual needs of dogs.
  • I will show you how to implement these elements into your daily life.
  • We will work out how to address any specific behaviours that need modifying.

A one off fee will cover;

  • The initial consultation.
  • A book or DVD for future reference.
  • A comprehensive lifetime back up system. This includes;

A short back up call in the following weeks if required. On the very rare occasions that an extensive back up consultation is required, cost of this will be negotiated at the time, depending on circumstances.
Exclusive access to the client area of this website, which contains a number of articles for reference, as well as a forum where clients can ask questions and discuss AB in a relaxed, private environment.
Back up by email or phone, depending on the urgency of the situation.

"In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog."
